'Everyone on staff was delightful - happy and helpful. Always working. The property is very clean, with the exception of an overfilled dumpster from remodeling. Nice hanging hammock chairs right near the bay, some Adirondack chairs (could have used a few more). Close to many options for dining and not too far from the beach. Parking is quite expensive in the area. There's a fridge, coffee maker, a microwave and 2 burner stove. 4 plates, 3 bowls, 1 spoon, no forks, no pans. Small things. ...

'Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. It was especially nice being in a residential neighborhood with the canal right outside the doorstep, lovely scenery, easy walking distance to Rehoboth Beach Perfect four-day vacation to clear the mind with easy access to all that you would want in...

'Location was perfect...park your car and walk to everything. Our room was in a very quiet part of the property. Never heard anyone above us etc. The room needed a little updating. Sofa was very tired. Wish the rooms had a coffee maker but understand that would be taking away from the on-site coffee shop. Overall was a very enjoyable getaway.'
