'Three Trails was so cute. I loved the exposed brick walls, wooden floors and the wood beam ceilings. The beds were very comfortable! I would recommend so WD40 on the doors, they were very loud and squeaky if you had to get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom. The apartment kitchen is very well stocked. We loved finishing the evenings on the rooftop patio. The parking was very easy and everything is walkable in downtown Elkin, we didnt have to drive anywhere, the vine line picked us up...

'We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'We booked a queen suite for a short stay while remodeling project was being completed. We have attended several wedding receptions at the Village Inn over the years and were very familiar with this long established hotel. Well maintained property in a great location with many amenities. Highly recommend.'
