'The front desk persons in the nigh shift are not very nice. When I asked the reason why my room wasn’t being cleared up for the all day and when it will be cleared up. The front desk person told me the housekeeper has their own schedule and he didn’t know when the housekeeper will go to clean the room. That’s terrible.'

'In general the property was quite nice. Rooms are spacious if somewhat run down (they were doing some renovations though so that might be solved soon). It is in a nice location by the ocean and the bar/restaurant was very enjoyable with good staff. The pool is somewhat small but acceptable, the private lagoon somewhat makes up for this though (it is also a great place to try out your snorkel before going into the ocean). 'The location is perfect. We traditionally stay at resorts 30 to 45 minutes north of Kona and we decided try this location. We are glad we did. It saved us a lot of time driving to and from Kona.'

'They take very good care of you at this little gem of a hotel a block from the ocean ! I stay about three times a year and would not stay anywhere else in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Very reasonable parking prices, very clean and up to date rooms and always a great free breakfast to start your day ! That is a 40 buck savings from going to a local restaurant ! On top of all that they have local employees that are the reason they call Hawaii paradise ! Great folks who are always a joy to stop and chat...
