'So, this was the first trip my wife and I were able to take in more than four years where it’s just the two of us trying to getaway from a busy and hectic life raising two young kids. And this property let us down from the moment we showed up. The unit had not been cleaned prior to arrival. We were greeted by trash bags upon opening the front door, used towels hanging on racks in the bathroom, and the only bed was unmade. There was no hair dryer contrary to what the listing told us. 'Loved it! Exactly as described. Quiet, comfortable, and within walking distance to so much. Coffee shop across the street was wonderful.'

'the apartment was absolutely beautiful & extremely clean. i would highly recommend staying at this location'

'Love this place! It’s close to campus as well as some great food. Don’t miss Pi Napo for pizza. We stayed at the end of a long road trip so we appreciated the washer and dryer.'

'Couldn’t have picked a better location for visiting Charlottesville! The apt was very chic. The sofa could have used a few throw pillows () but we were mostly on the go, so no problem.'

'What a great experience. The property management company was so easy to work with. The house was immaculate. Comfortable, clean, beautiful bay windows overlooking the mall, easy to access, the rooms were big, the kitchen was stocked, the living room/kitchen table area was huge. And you truly cannot beat the location. One flight of stairs and your walking the Charlottesville downtown mall area. We would definitly book this place again in the future.'

'Hardly any sleep the first night! Parties above us and to the side of us too loud! Otherwise the place was relatively clean'

'We had a great stay on this historic estate! Very clean and cozy studio in the perfect location, in the countryside but close to town, with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. Close to Monticello, Highland, parks, and multiple wineries. Would definitely recommend to couples visiting the Charlottesville area!'

'Very nice room and suite clean and accomdating '

'It was a very pleasant stay. We chatted it up with Stuart the owner he was very nice. The place was super clean and we had everything we needed. We would totally stay again. Great experience!'

'This is a very fun, spacious and beautiful property. It is fully finished with everything you would need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location is great as well. We were in town for an Opera at the Paramount and live music at The Southern. Both places were walkable as well as your choice of many restaurants. The only thing I would point out is the set up. The two bedrooms are right next to each other. And while aesthetically pleasing, the walls have glass panels at the top...
