'We met up with our daughters as we all live in different states. This cottage had everything we needed for a quick long weekend trip. We arrived ahead of our girls. There were beach chairs, kayak and all the items that we didn’t have to bring. Retail and restaurant’s are in walking distance. There is a bar/ restaurant across the street. You do not hear the outside noise from within the house. We had a wonderful time in a lovely home.'

We walked to the Avon Fishing Pier, souvenir, coffee and ice cream shops and restaurants. The area and beach felt safe and it was very clean. 'The stay was short (2 nights) but a great location for seeing the OBX. The host very quick to respond and maintained great communication before and after our stay. The home was very clean and well stocked even with a coffee bar! The ocean is very close and although it was a little stormy out the first night, we felt safe and secure. 'Property was as advertised. Dining table is a pool table. Flip over top and can play table tennis. Only aspect not appreciated was toilet in Master bedroom has no door. But we knew this going in and managed just fine with the floor plan.'
