'Upea pieni Luxury/boutiquehotelli, jossa koko asunto samassa!

'Hotel: luxurious and great location, spacious and clean rooms, various cleaning room options. Hotel has a shuttle bus to drive guests to a train/subway station. Staff: very helpful, give valuable and usefull information, Restaurant/food: only tried western breakfast. Everyday was the same but had enough options to chose from. The only small complaint i have is the lack of protein options. Overall: great hotel, would definitely recommend it for those visiting Kyoto'

'The staff here is outstanding! The room was cozy and romantic and the location was perfect!'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit outside the city area and therefore very quite but still in walking distance. The rooms are quite small but it’s similar to other places we have stayed in Japan. What is outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were on our honeymoon and they even decorated our room which was super nice'

'Sowaka was amazing. Great location, beautiful hotel, incredible food, perfect staff! Do take the 5:45 am tour to Kiyomizu-dera with the incredibly knowledgeable hotel manager. A wonderful and unique experience without all the tourists around.'

'Location!'

'Ideal location for visiting Kyoto. Entrance to the most useful subway line is right across the hotel at a 2 minute walk. Rooms are extremely spacious, about the biggest we ever had for this price. Subway prices are very cheap, around €5,- for a day pass. Located next to the international Convention Centre in a very good area. Also lots of shop within a 10 min. walk.'

'Heel mooie kamer'

'Customer service was excellent.'

'As a family of 4 adults, this was a good hotel to stay at. Close to subway, restaurants, Gion and other must see sites. The hotel has a boutique style feel to it and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than other hotels we stayed at but had everything you need. For stays less than 3 nights, your room will not be cleaned, but we prefered that. Please learn to say "thank you" in Japanese before going "arigato gozaiymasu"...the people always bow and say this to you. The...
