'The property is so cool. It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is. It has all the character with modern touches you could want. The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend. The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries. And the hosts are awesome! '

'Really great place to stay to take the day to explore the area. Easy walk to downtown and the waterfront. We found a great place to have dinner in downtown Edenton and have a few drinks and then had just enough time to walk to the waterfront and catch the sunset. We had requested a bottle of wine for our return and were able to take that and watch the traffic go by on the large front porch during the evening. The breakfast the next day was fantastic and we got tips of some boat trips and...

'Wij hebben er maar 1 nachtje overnacht op doorreis. Centrum van New Bern is mooi en all American. Hotel is heel groot, de verdieping waar we sliepen waren ze net aan het renoveren, maar onze kamer was proper en mooi, met een mooi uitzicht op de haven. Zwembad was klein maar mooi.'
