'On my first day as soon as I checked in a dog was continuously barking to the point I had to report it. Same day at 3:00AM a fire alarm was blaring asking everyone to evacuate the hotel. I was on the ninth floor! When we got to the third floor the stairs were blocked and no instructions as to how to proceed, so we had to reenter the floor and use another exit. All that to be told it was a false alarm. The lack of security and safety was non existent. My room had a connecting door and the noise...

'Great experience'

'Beautiful lobby!!'

'Hotel is ok in general, location is great, restaurant is good, terras is super. Check-in went fast but totally wrong. Suddenly there were other guests in my room, double booked. Then my room card was not working anymore. Booked 3 rooms, all 3 rooms overcharged by 100usd. At the end they fixed all the issues but had to go to reception multiple times. Elevators are a hell, sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes to get an elevator. The staff is very nice and helpfull but some finetuning is...

'This was one of my better experiences at a hotel! The staff was so friendly and the location was perfect! The room and entire property was extremely clean! I will for sure be staying here during all my future San Antonio trips!!'

'Nice balcony that's shared which you can't see in pics. Bed is firm but comfortable. Room is really small but just right if you using it to sleep in for 2 people. It's an older building but was very pleasant to stay in and seems to be really well insulated, the only sound you hear is if someone from the next room is going in or out their door.'

'Kevin the host was amazing. He greeted us and gave us the history of the building and surroundings. It was an easy walk to EVERYTHING! Best time ever. '

'Our stay at The Monarch San Antonio during the Day of the Dead parade weekend was disappointing, especially for the price. Check-in was painfully slow, with only one employee working despite the busy weekend. Dining was concerning because there was no allergen menu. With a serious tree nut allergy, simply being told food contains no nuts isn’t reassuring. Proper allergy precautions matter. At the bar, we waited 45 minutes while being repeatedly overlooked as guests arriving after us were...

'The Spanish ambience was so beautiful and comfortable. The staff was great. We went to the bar most nights and Daphne and all the bartenders were so friendly and professional. The valet guys, Patrick and Armando, were so friendly, funny, and efficient. I’m telling everyone about the Omni on the river. I want to come back!'

'Great customer service'
