'Anlass unseres Besuches war die Bob Weltmeisterschaft in LP. Die Unterkunft und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern waren toll.Das Cottage in Lake Placid war sehr sauber und komplett mit allem ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen. '

'Thank you very much. We had a great stay at your home. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was right up the street from the ice castle and that was great. We could walk in to town from where we were if we wanted to. The only suggestions I would make would be to have something to hold items in the hallway shower, more seating in the living room, and instructions on how to use the fireplace. '

'Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. Thank you!'

'We really enjoyed ourselves! The property is perfect for relaxing, loved the screened in porch overlooking the river!!! Even when it was chilly ( did mIt’s close to all the lake placid attractions y morning yoga out there… we enjoyed the fire pit outside, the sauna was awesome!!! All the furniture was comfy, and kitchen was well appointed ( we did a lot of cooking!'

'The house was perfect for a large party. Everyone had their own room. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked so we could make breakfast each morning. A short walk to town. Josh was easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!'

Shopping, kayaking, paddle boarding, bobsledding & curling in Lake Placid; a hike & whitwater raft ride at Ausable Chasm, hiking to the top of Whiteface and a day in Canada - there was something for everyone.'

'Our book club recently stayed here for our Readers Retreat. It was the perfect setting for our group to relax, read, and unwind in a beautiful setting, immaculate home with such care to details and decor. The hot tub was also a highlight of this property and we were very close to town and spas for additional outings. Five stars from the Between The Wine Book Club! '

'The property needs a wee bit of a spruce up. The house is great for family--but it does need to be spruced up a bit. Dated with the curtains and peeling wall paper and stickers. The space it self is ideal. The outside does need a mow but it is the beginning of the season. The gazebo outside is a great feature---needs a little TLC. Perhaps we were the first renters of the season---it is a good place.'
