'Lovely spot near Grasmere Lake right in the centre of Grasmere. Lots of nice walks nearby. Plenty of pubs/hotels to eat and drink nearby. Would stay here again.'

'We had a pleasant stay. The room is big, clean and tidy. All the staffs are friendly and courteous. Susan at the reception made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is generous and good. We have no issue with carpark although it is on a first come first serve basis. Highly recommended. '

'This is unique experience. With outstanding views of Windermere and Ambleside. Try and avoid wedding weekends. As the menu is limited but still a lot of great choice and variety. Staff could not be more helpful and attentive. Makes a huge difference to a trip, I hope the management team take note. We stayed in the cottage's which were great for us as we travelled as a 6. And gave us some extra privacy and ability to spend the afternoon on our own terrace together which was great. But...

'Lovely staff, nice and clean, great breakfast selection, great location, everything was great really. Only thing would be fewer single serving things like milk, ketchup and brown sauce packets. But otherwise a great place and we'd definitely go back.'
