'The resort looked beautiful from the outside however, once checked in and I saw my room I was highly upset. It super old and outdated. Reflected nothing of the outside. It was so outdated I had a partial ocean view so I called to see if I could upgrade and was told all the rooms look like this. Also this is the first resort I’ve stayed at that’s didn’t have enough charging ports in the room. I had to keep switching out charging amongst 3 of us and unplug my medical machine. 'The reason I did not give it a perfect score was due to the off putting way my husband and I got suckered from the get go at reception desk. We were told to speak to someone at the concierge desk to get “a map” of the area. No, this was for us to speak to someone about pressuring us into the timeshare presentation. The lobby seems like a pool of sharks just hunting you down when then see fresh meat.
Aside from that the housekeeping staff was amazing and very attentive.'

'I was extremely disappointed in my stay. The food was horrible, the rooms were dirty, as well as the pool are and there was a cockroach in my room. I essentially had to beg to change rooms! Both myself and my daughter got food poisoning. I will never recommend or stay here again!'

'Room was clean, only that that i didn't like was the position of the toilet. Couldn't sit straight and made it uncomfortable to use. Ocean view was amazing, I loved it! As far as pool, they are all beautiful but not well maintained. They looked dirty, the water looked green! It had lots of missing tiles. The swim out pool lounge chairs smelled like mildew and the mildew was visible.
All staff members were very attentive and friendly! Luis Martinez and Adrian Rojas had great customer service'

'Beautiful lobby with amazing first view of the resort and sea/sand. Every restaurant had great food and something for everyone. Pools were beautiful offering some quiet and some activities. But far and away the service and personal attention throughout the resort completes the experience. We have visited multiple times and are always blown away by the warmth and hospitality at Hyatt Ziva. Everything we want in a vacation!'
