'The hotel was very close to Windermere lake and very central to see the whole of the Lake District, which was my plan. The staff, especially the breakfast staff, were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel doesnt have a lift which was a shame and my room was up 2 flights of stairs which was difficult for me as i have bad knees. Parking was good though the spaces in additional parking are a bit tricky to manoeuvre, but possible. The breakfast was superb, i liked that...

'Friendly staff. Beautiful hotel. You can lounge in the garden with a beautiful view. Good breakfast, lot of fruit, lot of choices. There's also a restaurant for good diners. Free parking. '
