'while the weather was beyond anyone’s control, I had such a cozy stay and was perfect for the R&R that I needed. The grounds, the room and the entire property was so delightful though there were other guests. I don’t think I saw even one! It was truly so lovely in the rooms. I think everyone was cozied up by their fires during the rainy evenings. 'The hotel is central located near bars and clubs. Small supermarkets are also nearby. Clean room and good housekeeping. The breakfast was chaotic, no glasses, plates or cups because they still has to wash them. No basic breakfast or solution was given for people who had to leave early. We also had dinner at the hotel. 'Carolina met us when we arrived. Checkin was easy. Finding the parking was a little tricky at first but we managed. The apartment was clean and just right for the two of us. We were right in the heart of Funchal and were able to walk to stores and restaurants. '

'Schöner Außenpool (nicht beheizt), hübsche kleine Anlage, Zentrum fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 500 Meter den Berg runter vorbei am Hafen durch einen schönen Park). Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer, aber gut ausgestattet. Für einen Städtetrip als Familie zu empfehlen.'
