'Very quiet, hunter cabin feel with modern amenities like air conditioning, laundry, gas stoves and a full bathroom with on demand hot water. Waking up to deer walking by the front door was amazing to see in the morning. An awesome getaway to be by ourselves after our wedding'

'No code was ever sent to check in, the cabin was just unlocked. Not used or cleaned in a while. Spider webs everywhere. 2 half dollar size spiders in the tub. No wifi. No curtain on door right by sink to brush teeth etc. Zero privacy. Not even a checker board or newspaper to occupy kids. No fan in bathroom made it very steamy, and could barely change in the tiny shower/toilet area. Screw actually sticking out through wall in these rushed together cabins. 'Great place to stay! View was fantastic. Staff were very helpful in every way. Only real complaint is that they should have had umbrellas for the picnic tables at each cabin. I’d recommend this place to family and friends!'

'Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again!'
