'As soon as you walk through the door, every ounce of stress disappears. From the ocean view out every window to the lobster boats coming in and out of the bay, there couldn't be a more ideal location. House is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.'

'Everything about the gardener lake house was wonderful. The drive-in is like going into another world down a long dirt road to privacy and spectacular view of the lake. Yet, you’re only a few miles from the town.The swimming on the other side of the dock is a nice Sandy bottom and easy for people and dogs. 'We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.'

'It is a lovely home very close to schoodic and not too far from the rest of Acadia - a bit over an hour and an eazy drive that. Most importantly everything was very clean and very comfortable. Check in was very simple and the host was great about communication. As a bonus we also had the best stargazing at night!!'
