'Geweldig verblijf gehad bij Generator. Midden in het bruisende centrum van Madrid. Zijstraat van Grand Via ... wat wil je nog meer. Hippe, vrolijke gezellige gezamenlijke ruimtes. Lange donkere gangen naar de kamers; zes verdiepingen; 3 liften. Schone, nette, kamers. + Douche op de kamer - toilet op de kamer. Met 7 "vreemden" wil je toch wat privacy als je gebruik maakt van het toilet. Handdoek kun je huren voor € 5,00 ... geen idee of je dan een gratis verse handdoek krijgt? Dat is een beetje...

'Very dirty, so you can’t even put your clothes anywhere near/you have to dress in your bed - thankfully we found a smaller bathroom so just go to the small ones! '

'Great location with easy access to tourist attractions, and there were bus stops nearby as well. There were also plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff were helpful and the place was kept clean. The pods themselves were clean, but they were very creaky. Every time I moved, they made quite a lot of noise, which made me worry about waking the person in the pod underneath me. The pods also aren’t soundproof, so you can hear other people in the room opening and closing lockers or moving...

'Friendly and helpful Front Office Team. The Hostel is however featured as business, but it lacks of quality and services for someone that looks for a comfort stay. Kitchen had simply two microwaves and 4/5 high stand up chairs, getting crowded when more people wanted to eat together. Cleanliness was not at all in line with the expectations for a Business Hostel, as they cleaned common areas and bathrooms just once per day. Definitely recommend the property to revise these cleaning standards.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Casa du Soleil! We booked the triple room, it was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough comfort. The staff were so kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also found the common areas, especially the kitchen, to be so useful during our trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid and would definitely love to go back again!'

'Almost all aspects of the hostel itself is amazing except for the location. the streets leading to it are sadly sketchy and i’d suggest you either book with friends or make some friends in the hostel. the clerk was lovely. the kitchen is a little bit small considering the number of people but other than the rush hour, you can enjoy the amenities. '
