'The cottage is a perfect location for those who want to spend the day on the beach. It is located near the nightlife in Dewey but far enough off of the main strip that it is also quiet. We all enjoyed the deck on the top of the cottage.'

'This property is beautiful and a great view of the canal. The only drawback was there is a couple that lives in the basement that we weren’t expecting. They were quiet and pleasant, but we didn’t expect other folks at the property. Overall a very nice place to stay.'

'But definitely not our last. We wanted a beach getaway without the traffic and crowds you find further south and Broadkill fit the bill. This cottage is perfect for a couple a family or small group. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We loved hanging out on the screened porch playing cards and a couple of the board games provided. The beach is just a 2 minute walk and my husband is still talking about the pizza he had from the Broadkill store...

'It is a very cute little place and very nice for two. The only bad thing is the traffic getting out of the road or even returning. Heading out you have to go right and returning you need to go past and make a u turn and slide over one lane to make the turn to the road. I was honked at many times for doing this. As well the home is very close to the road RT 1 and the traffic noise is unreal. I'm an outdoor type person and love sitting on a porch, but did only twice in the time we were there....

'Excellent property for our needs, a ice scoop should be added to the ice maker.I don’t enjoy using ice that others have touched. Your add included a coffee maker, however it is a kruig which I was not prepared for. Had I known I could have planned better.'

'The house is perfect for small families and right on the water as advertised. Both the front and back yard are fenced in with ample outdoor furniture and grill. The porch is lovely with wrap around screened in windows, we did not use the bed in this space but a nice mostly private option for those who may need it. Very mermaid themed for all mermaid lovers.'

'This was the perfect place for our family Vaca!! Very clean and well stocked with essentials. A lot of privacy is provided by the shrubbery and the beach is just a few steps away. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs and we did not feel crowded at all. Loved it and definitely hope to return again. The sunrises on the beach were spectacular and there is a wildlife viewing area within walking distance for the most glorious sunsets. Definitely recommend.'
