Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! '

'Really nice tranquil cabin with a porch and fire pit overlooking a little river. Bed was super comfy, bathroom was a great size. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans. Coffee k cups and creamer and sugar was provided, which was so nice. Surprised my husband with this trip for his birthday and stayed with our 3yr old and 2 dogs. 'The cabin was absolutely great. Very relaxing and far enough away, but at the same time close to many outdoor activities. Two adults and one child stayed and the cabin was a perfect size. Everything was clean and new and the area was very quiet. We spent all of our evenings on the balcony facing the creek lostening to the running water. Jerry and Chris were very personable and it was good to know if we needed anything they were ready.We will definitely be back. '
