'The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.'

'Robin‘s Nest was the perfect hideaway for us while all the young’uns were at the family camp on Coleman Pond. Everything is thought of: coffee maker, toaster oven, two refrigerators, etc. Air conditioning for that rare Maine hot spell. We also appreciated the dedicated dock access to the pond. 'we needed a one night overnight in order to attend a local concert. 4 adults in our party over age 50. this provided us a comfy place with plenty of room to spread out before and after the concert. the kitchen was well equipped, and we could have made our own supper and breakfast. we chose to eat out. we could bring home leftovers unlike a hotel room. i would stay again if we ever come back to the area.'

'Walked the house initially and it smelled like a wet basement, we opened all the windows and had the humidifier going but it didn’t help. The Wi-Fi didn’t work because the owners hadn’t paid the bill. That got fixed the next day. Sheets were dirty on the master bedroom. Twice we had to call Maine water to fix the water. We called to get the place cleaned and they never sent any one and there was no cable. In the bathroom there was black mold in the shower. It was awful.'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
