'The unit was pretty much as pictured. The two air-conditioning units were pretty loud and went off and on during the night. But the amenities were good and we enjoyed our stay.'

'I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again.'

'Room smelled like smoke, pillows same smoke smell. Doors didn’t close securely. Trash and debris left in the stairwells. Damaged HVAC units. Breakfast was extremely limited, no juice, warm milk, and the waffle batter was watered down. Pictures showed a pool, but it was out of service. Definitely not worth $120, maybe worth $60 per night.'

'Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay.'

'Absolutely beautiful property. Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, beautiful hot tub well maintained yard with soft grass. We had our lab with us and he adored running in the fenced yard. Location was perfect for visiting Mt Airy. Host was lovely. What a wonderful place to make memories!!!'

The property is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing the beautiful view of Pilot Mountain right from the farm.
