'It is what it is.......if you want a 5 star resort, look elsewhere, its a beach house. Communication was good, place was clean. It was a little odd having the owner right upstairs, but they werent very intrusive. You cannot see the beach, but it only 30 or so yards to walk to. Overall, satisfied.....'

'The cute property was perfect for our stay in Jacksonville. We flew in from Alaska to visit our son and celebrate his 30th birthday. We easily walked to dinner every night, we walked to the beach in the mornings for sunrise. We had friends stop in to visit us. The grocery store is two blocks away…The location was perfect!! I was really just contacting the host to let him know but he overnighted a new and better one and it was on the porch the next morning. That’s the type of host you’re getting here. 'Fantastic location and literally only steps from the smoothest sand we’ve walked on in many years! Everything was as advertised and plenty of room for a family of four. Nicely updated and tastefully decorated. We gave the overall check-in process 4/5 because we didn’t get the instructions or entry codes until we asked for them twice (once 24 hours before and once the day of check-in at 4:30 pm). The management team was apologetic and this may have been an oversight, but it was nerve racking....

'Excellent location. Just a quick walk to the beach. The house was clean, felt brand new, and spacious for the four of us. It’s was a nice surprise to see a cart, chairs, and toys for the beach for us to use. Neighbors were good, very quiet at night. Plan to rebook this property in the future!'

'My family of 4 stayed in this lovely home and had an awesome short but eventful spring break trip in Jacksonville. The location of the home was not too far from the beach and not to far from shopping! We loved competing in the Jacksonville-opoly game and the kids loved playing the foosball game in the home. It was a very quiet and friendly neighborhood and we felt very safe. I would recommend this home!'

'This VRBO was amazing. Very nicely furnished with a lux vibe throughout. The screened in porch was so soothing - ONLY DOWNSIDE - neighbors have very loud dogs which mess up the ambience of indoors and outdoors which would catch us off guard as we didn’t know when or what time we’d hear them. OVERALL - this was a very nice stay and I would highly recommend it. Just know about the dogs and you can get your mind right for them barking up the tranquil peace that you’d get otherwise.'

'The sandcastle was the perfect place for our family to gather for a wonderful long weekend in Jax visiting St Augustine, Jax Beach and the Beautiful stadium for a Who Dey Monday night win! The hosts are very accommodating and everything in the home was perfect. It was a cloudy weekend so the pool, putting green, pool table and other amenities were perfect. I’d definitely rent from the Sandcastle again.'

'Beautiful home in a great location. We were four couples on a golf trip and this home was a hit with everyone! Owner was very attentive and responsive to any inquiries that we had. Check in process was a breeze and the home was very comfortable for our group. The only criticism I have is the four pan was too small for our group and we had to eat breakfast and shifts.'

'Dan really put a lot of thought into this property. I book this stay for myself and some college friends. When we arrived I saw that this home was children friendly (of all ages), pet friendly, and of course friendly. The home was clean, spacious, and close to everything. I really enjoyed this stay.
