'You won’t get claustrophobia here - open, rustic decor, feels a bit like a really big, cool man cave. Two games could use some attention — small version of foosball needs repaired or replaced; the bumper pool table needs nuts to hold down the bumpers; the jute box needs repairing as well. The hiking was outta this world! Reminds us so much of many spots in Zion National Park in Utah. Ohio’s best kept secret!'

'The Cow Paddy is very clean, neat and well organized. The owners have it well supplied with everything one could need. She even left us homemade sourdough bread with butter and honey which was delicious. The view is relaxing and beautiful. Definitely recommend this place to stay to relax and unwind.'

'The outside of the property was regular looking but when we got inside we were thoroughly impressed by everything being modern, updated, and nicely appointed. Check in and out were easy and the unit was clean. My only suggestion and just my opinion would be to do a fold out couch in the living room and/or a bigger bed in the larger bedroom. All and all it was an ideal place to stay. Thanks'

'My dog and I stayed at this previously unreviewed property and were pleasantly surprised. Fantastic location, appeared newly renovated and was nicer than comes across in the pictures. 'I didn't realize it was a wheelchair accessible aparment and that was probably part of the funkiness. It just wasn't an inviting place to be--it felt quite empty and dark. There were only two of us and the only comfortable place to sit was a greasy looking 1990s couch, I ended up putting a blanket on it so I could stand to sit on it. 'We stayed here over Memorial weekend and it was a perfect little cabin for my husband and I. Excellent views and the hot tub was a perfect spot to relax at night. 'The cabin/stay was great. Didn’t have to communicate with manager for anything. Cabin was very nice and clean. Was quiet and relaxing. Disappointed that hot tub was not clean (hair & a leaf) so we didn’t use it. This was our 2nd trip to Hocking Hills and we will definitely visit again.'
