'Overall, we had a great stay. Beautiful home with wonderful views. The breakfast was okay.'

'Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!'

'The staff was friendly and very helpful. The 2 breakfasts we had were excellent'

'My wife and I traveled to Galena to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect for spending a few days there, and the Steamboat House was ideal, thanks to its location, aesthetics, and amenities. We both have gluten allergies, and while I forgot to mention this in our reservation, Carol, the innkeeper, was incredibly helpful in providing gluten-friendly breakfast options, which made our stay feel even more special. The house was beautifully decorated with a fall and Halloween...

'We loved the house, but it could use some updates. It really could use a thorough cleaning. There was plenty of room for our four adults and two teenagers. There were plenty of towels and toiletries provided. We enjoyed visiting the John Deere house just across the street. There isn’t much else right there, but parks and restaurants were a short drive away.'

'Great historic B&B. Highly recommended!'

'It was a very nice experience. Would definitely go back.'
