'The accomodations and bathing area are a bit worn, but this is reflected with the price. The service is exceptional however, and I really enjoyed the onsen. Onsen is tattoo friendly which I needed. There is a smoking area within the building. It was a nice, traditional experience; the breakfast was particularly interesting. '

'We were picked up by the hotel shuttle bus from the train station. On arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed by a lot of staff and got a welcome drink in the lounge with a stunning view over the city. 'There are not enough good things I can say about my stay here. Although my stay was short, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The room I had was beautiful with a view of the garden and nature surrounding the minoh falls trail. The baths were clean and had supplies for a relaxing time provided. Yuki (one of the staff) was extremely accommodating and thoughtful, she made the stay really. I would highly recommend this to anyone. '

'We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. 'We stayed for two nights in this wonderful hotel. It's located in the center of the well known Arima Onsen. The hotel has pick-up and bring service that covers the train, bus and cable car stations in the surrounding area. It's very convenient to get around. 'Prachtige luxe ruime kamer met veel extra spullen voor de gasten. Uitzicht vanaf het balkon is schitterend en helemaal als de lichten van de stad aan zijn. Het restaurant is fantastisch. Heerlijk eten en een super enthousiaste chef kok. Wil je even bijkomen van al het reizen dan kun je in dit hotel heerlijk bijkomen. 'Everything was great from the hospitality to the service. Having a personal shuttle take you around town was great considering how "hilly" the terrain is in Arimaonsen. The onsens (hotsprings) are forbsure the main attraction and the time allotted to rent each onsen (45 minutes a session) was certainly generous. I've stayed here twice already and I'm already looking forward to returning someday.'
