'We were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. the staff couldn't have been nicer! We had the king bed room with the in room soaking tub for 2 - loved it. We're an older couple, late 60's, would've appreciated if that soaking tub was easier to get into! For us seniors, it took some navigating to get into and out of that tub. 'Beautiful place, lots and lots of stairs. Waterfront is on a little lagoon that is made by the embankment for the train rt of way. Trains pass by occasionally, I found the sound kind of peaceful, but if you think you will be disturbed, bring ear plugs.There is a gorgeous fire place as the center of the house, but guests are not able to utilize it. The fire space on the beach is small and viney, but we made do. Just don't expect to sit around a fire for a long time.All in all, a very good stay...
