'This was a great little place right on the water of the bay. At low tide we had a private tiny beach. It was in a great location and although it was in a very bisy area, it felt secluded. Everything we needed was there at yhe boathouse. It was clean and bright. The host was friendly and responsive immediately. He gave precise directions and we found the place easily in the dark. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely stay again. and was fr'

'We had a fantastic time and, after living out of hotels for over a week, it was especially nice to stay at this beautiful and well maintained property. The neighborhood was beautiful, the home was perfectly stocked, and the bedrooms were all clean, individually decorated, and as neat as they could be.Communication with the host was flawless.There were only two of us but the home could accommodate 6 easily.Hopefully we'll be back!!'

We lucked out with great weather and enjoyed the beach, concrete boardwalk, dedicated bicycle path and restaurants, all literally steps away from the hotel. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
