'The place was a dump! They lost our reservation and the people to check us in were gone. The first floor of the “lodge” was a single building, managed by the local rafting company (there weren’t any rafters scheduled) with bunk beds on the first floor (not at all like the picture) and a shared bathroom. I heard from the “maid” (she had a housecoat on) that the second floor was better but we were put off by all the bees and bugs everywhere on the first floor. I can only imagine what the beds...

'My husband and I booked in at the Eustis cabin for a little quiet relaxation before joining our extended family in the area for the holiday weekend. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. The area offers some great restaurants and places to fish and watch wildlife. We enjoyed falling asleee we p to the sound of the river. Wish we could have stayed longer!'

'I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. Horrible experience ever! Would appreciate Hotel.com to link us up with...

'Owner is very nice. Room was newly renovated and had a nice kitchen. Fun lounge and game room. Easy load in and out. They had Carrabassett Coffee company for the room too and sold toothbrushes in the office! Beds were so-so for comfort but overall a great stay.'

'Everything was good minus the couch cushions constantly were falling off the couch. Appliances didn’t have any lights(fridge ect). Not much you can do about tv due to the size of the place but definitely not the most comfortable looking up 15ft at the tv.'

'Overall this was a very nice place. I would not call it a 3 bedroom though. It is a 2 bedroom with lofts. One of the 2 lofts is large like a bedroom, but the ladders to the lofts are straight up and difficult to climb. As long as you know before booking, you can decide if this will be a problem for your family.'
