'Beautiful view of the pond from our room! Convenient breakfast. I wish you offered granola as part of it. I also wish you had real potted plants in the common areas. Plastic plants and flowers are tacky (sorry) and they don’t send the right environmental messages—real plants help us breath! All in all, we had a pleasant stay.'

'Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you.'
