'Rooms clean and quiet'

'Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean, though caulking in bathroom was showing some age. No refrigerator in the room, which was slightly inconvenient.'

'This is a motel with rooms that directly connect with the parking lot. It is clean, but has no frills nor amenities. It is perfect for a short, cheap stay by a very secure human who doesn’t mind feeling uncomfortable for a night as long as it saves him money. The Formica was peeling off the small, interrogation style table. The shoe molding along the base was loose and needed to be re-nailed and caulked. The sink drained slowly and needed to be snaked. 'This place is great except we didn’t have any soap in our soap dispenser or lotion in our lotion dispenser. What happened to the little bar of soap they used to leave at the sink??? Actually, just bring a bar of soap from home! Love the front desk staff. Breakfast is great. Room and bath CLEAN! Very close to Duke Medical Center which is a big plus. Also close to Duke University.'

Nowhere on the hotel's website or in additional details on Expedia is it said that there will be an additional $100 fee for incidentals.
