'Room was spotless, pool was open and clean. The hot continental breakfast was actually really solid.
The biscuits and gravy paired with bacon, eggs and sausage was my go to while my daughter was a pancake and cinnabon monster.
Thr tv channels would go out every few hours, one day it was out the entire day but it wasnt that big of a deal. The wifi wouls cut out evey few hours as well...not sure if they have a connection issue but it would be nice if they uograded their internet equipment....

This is where I would stay again the staff they went well and above and over I sure hope they get paid pretty well.'

'The history of the property is alluring. The bed was so comfortable and inviting. There were so many things that we wanted to do that we could not in the time that we were there. We did have a slight issue with not being able to find an innkeeper when needed, but we never had any issues other than that. We would definitely return. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'A real gem for those wanting a private vintage experience in the West End. We enjoyed the ambiance of a small Inn with just 6-7 named rooms all with period decor and spacious upgraded bathrooms. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'This is a 123 year old property, so naturally doors didn't fit perfect, etc. But this was once of the greatest nights I spent. The staff was a joy, and to find out that the owner of the house was the nephew of the founder of my hometown in Virginia was priceless. I will be back.'
