'This is a 3* review because of the room not the hotel. Positives are friendly and efficient staff, very clean facility, nice warm cookie on arrival and a good breakfast though seating is limited. Lots of restaurants close by. The negative was our room. We were three adults travelling together so we booked a room with a separate bedroom. The bedroom was fine with a good bed. 'The hotel is a gem in the middle of the French Quarter. It has a combination of classic elegance and modern conveniences that hit you as soon as you walk in. The rooms are very modern with all types of lifting controls including motion sensors under the bed that turn on soft lights if you get up in the middle of the night. The staff was friendly and ultra professional. It was a high class vibe in walking distance to most sights.'

We were told the room was over booked and we were staying in the Sheraton across the road in New Orleans.
