'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'Great location right in the French Quarter. Streetcar stops right by hotel. Walkable to restaurants and has a shopping center in the same building. And if gambling is on your list, Caesars is directly across the street. Great views of the barges running up and down the Mighty Mississippi. And "T" at the conservation deck bar, was the best.
