'Een heel leuk hotel. De stijl is moeilijk te omschrijven. Bezoek daar de website van het hotel voor. Er is veel antiek. Bij aankomst hangt er een welkombriefje. Ben je daar in de buurt boek gerust. Ontbijt was inbegrepen en je eet in eenmooie onbijtkamer met een mooi uitzicht'

'La Bastide Bed & Breakfast was lovely! From the moment we arrived and were greeted to the seamless walk-away checkout I would change nothing about my stay. The room and common areas were scrupulously clean, the staff lovely and engaging, and everything from the easy parking, Wi-Fi, and shower...just worked. The bed and bedding were comfortable, the fireplace warm and romantic, and the food was spectacular. As always, if you prefer to leave your windows open (certainly an option for fresh air...

'Very cute winery and we had tickets for free drinks because we were staying in the rooms. Clean but the air conditioning did leak onto the floor both nights and the outlet in the bathroom did not work making it difficult to get ready. Would stay again.. just needs a little updating.'

'Beautiful home in the middle of wine country. The owners were knowledgeable as to what wineries to try out. Breakfast was amazing both mornings that were there! I would return to the Gaard House again!'
