'Property really needs updated'

'Good location and easy check in process. This property had some functional concerns - the dishwasher did not work, the oven did not work properly (gave up making bacon after 45 min as it was still fairly raw) and the microwave was hit or miss. Sent host a message through app regarding dishwasher, but did not get a response. Host did send several other pre-recorded messages throughout our stay. Noted several ants in the kitchen and living area. Bedrooms were all upstairs, but entertaining areas...

'The request was not to strip the sheets on the beds when we left, but some of the guests did anyways because it’s the right thing to do. The mattresses looked soiled. Another mattress must have had bed bugs because the guest was covered with bites on her backside the next day. There was a dirty spoon in the drawer. There was also an animal living in the roof or wall that was crawling around at night. If you want to feel like you’re camping outside, this might be the place for you.'

'The house was a great location for where we found many things to do and see. We had planned to meet up with a former classmate and relative. Very close to both. Shops and restaurants were quite close. Our host always answered in a very timely manner.'
