However it was also only 1/2 block from the Red Light District which was a surprise. But we never felt unsafe even in the evenings (it was light till 10:30pm). Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs.
