'Nice peaceful place. Clean and owners took care on the details. Liked the fireplace and THANK GOD finally a 'normal' shower head. So far everywhere encountered a wall-fixed shower head. Unfortunately like everywhere else in the US the walls are made of paper so your experience might depend on luck (if you have noisy neighbours or not). We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious but a bit small for a big guy that will spend the entire day hiking. The basket it came in was a bit dirty...

'This hotel nailed all the little details! From the upscale soaps to the complimentary tote bag full of coffee and fresh parties on your door knob in the morning, this place is crushing it. While the hotel doesn't have many amenities, the details and customer service were quite memorable. We'll be back!'

'Wonderful overnight stay: clean, great location, easy parking, a quick walk to the town/Main Street, breakfast included, great value for price! José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!'
