'Great resort and beach view from the balcony. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was thorough. Food was good. Somethings were amazing and some things I was a little disappointed. Overall, it was good the buffet had a huge selection. I liked that we didn’t have to make a reservation and it was first come first served. 'I’ll start with the negative which isn’t much. The rooms are starting to show their age. Now the good which FAR outweighs the bad. When you get there you’re greeted by excellent staff. Roberto was my favorite. He was such a huge help to us setting up rides to places as we don’t speak Spanish and he spoke great English and is just a super friendly man. My other favorite was the theater bar at night where they had great shows every night but more importantly the two bartenders out there, Eulices...

'A wonderful time spent at the SMC resort. On this trip we didn't do the spa. It was a bit noisy than we're use to but we still had a relaxing time. We stayed as preferred club and not only was the service excellent in preferred but all over the resort. We cannot complain about the meals or our drinks and watching the entertainment outdoors under the moon and stars made it special. One drawback is they try to sell you timeshare but they did not pressure us when we declined. So thumbs up for SMC.'

'Everything was great. All the staff from every area were so nice. They make you feel welcome as soon as you get there. I would like to mention Esteban aka “speedy” his help and service was amazing. Also, at the pool bar Eduardo gave us an amazing experience, he is one the best bartenders we have ever met. We would be back soon for sure. '
