The hotel was just ok. One of the queen bed mattress had a big indentation in the middle so was uncomfortable and kept rolling inwards during sleep. Fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times in the early morning (for no reason) waking us up. We were on the 13 floor so it was a hassle to get an elevator up or down due to elevators not functioning/broken and packed with people. We had 2 Butlers but didn't see them after the first day and didn't find them overly helpful or needed. Food was average, sometimes below average. The best meals we had were breakfast in the buffet. One of the main considerations in booking the hotel was the promoted $600 hotel credit but was disappointed to receive a coupon book upon check-in with $15-25 off different purchase options such as bottle wine or spa services. It felt like that was misrepresentation of the hotel credit benefit--it was more of a discount coupon book which we really weren't able to use. On a positive note, the location on the beach was beautiful. Also, the evening entertainment was good. We love Cancun and had a nice holiday overall but would not stay at this property again.
