Strandhotels in Quincy

'I was expecting 3 bedrooms and bedroom number 2 was locked. Also the location was not described accurately as it was a very busy street, day and night and streetlights shine in the bedroom, streets are dirty. Place was well kept and clean. Wet clothes in the washer which we re-washed and hung to dry. Sorry Jenny just expected the location to be much quieter and the 3rd bedroom to be available. '

'The stay was good overall, but it was a little pricey, especially with having to pay an extra $10 for parking. The breakfast was amazing — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room was clean, and the property seemed well maintained. I do think they should allow partial cash payments if someone doesn’t have enough available on their card. We paid for a room with a water view, and we did get that, but it also came with a highway view. The walk from the elevator to our room was...

'The main selling point of this hotel is the location. With a 10 minute walk to the station you are in Boston downtown very fast. Staff is friendly, but the facility is not in the best shape. Furniture is run down and the rooms are not clean. We had stains on the headrest of the bed and blood on the floor.'

'Streaming didn’t work & the only thing I looked forward to was watching Hulu or Netflix. I was going to stay an extra night but chose to check out. I am now staying at a Marriott where the streaming works. I also don’t enjoy using Dove Soap; it’s too sweet/fragrant but was the only option. Bedding was great but without streaming to help relax (& not being told when I got to my room; I had to call bc I couldn’t get it to work) it was not a great stay.'

'The property especially the outside area could use some TLC. the trash location in the parking lot was constantly over flowing with soooo many trash bags piled up and falling apart with loose trash all over the ground. Also, the perimeter of the property had cigarette butts and trash all in the mulch. I didn’t like how they let heroin junkies live there with his dog. Always outside smoking cigarettes. Just a bad look. Unfortunately we won’t be staying there again. '
