'The Walton House is a great place to stay. Plenty of space with 2 1/2 baths and multiple bedrooms, and in a great location. It seems like everything in the house is high-end, especially in the kitchen. The hosts provided all the amenities (including provisions in the kitchen, paper products, etc.) that we could have asked for. Would certainly stay here again if back in the area.'

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over the July 4th weekend. We spent many hours on the front porch watching the sun rise, the boats pass by, birds soar, including bald eagles nesting nearby! The house is charming and very well equipped. We appreciated the binoculars to watch birds and fireworks. Betterton Beach is a short walk. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend! '

'We stayed at this house for two nights in July 2025. We had three families meet up. Two of the families had very young children. Could not have asked for a more perfect house. The location is right between farms and cornfields are literally just outside the windows. 'The property was beautiful and so large. Plenty of space for our party of 8 to spread out and enjoy time alone or with each other. Two refrigerators allowed us to stock up and cook in the house. We enjoyed nights at the fire pit and morning coffee on the front porch. Loved this house!'

'We decided to stay at this property due to its location to Sight & Sound. It was the perfect country get away! They have restored this home with beautiful hardwood floors, and a modern and spacious kitchen. The back deck was lovely, as well as the rocking chairs in the front. A little cafe was just down the street and we enjoyed watching for horse and buggy, listening to all the local farm animals and seeing the fireflies at night.
