We live in Hatteras and took our boat up to Wanchese to run some trips in late August - there was space for all of us who work on the boat and then some for our guest leaders who helped us out. The layout is spectacular and there is so much space to spread out and relax or work! The back porch was our favorite place to relax every evening when we got back from the boat - the yard is spacious and fenced in for pets! The host and property manager communicated...

'Property was as pictured… 30 mins from closes public beach. Across the street had crabs, mosquitoes and biting flies. Door opener was dead luckily they had a physical key on the property thank God. Was upset that the floors weren’t cleaned but I get the beach can be hard to clean up after… property contacted us to clean something the previous tenants left and I felt that was super unprofessional!! We pay too much for cleaning fees to be responsible for others trash.'

'Unfortunately, the host did not respond to questions i asked immediately after booking in a timely fashion which created a HUGE misunderstanding and unnecessary stress and conflict. Sent 4 messages the day i booked and one the morning of arrival and didn't receive a response to my specific inquiries until close to check in. Very disappointing experience. '
