'Overall, this is a nice property with lots for families to do. I will say this is the costliest vacation I’ve had in quite some time. The restaurants are way over priced. The cabana’s and daybeds at the beach are the most expensive I’ve ever paid with the worst service. If you are looking for a relaxing “cabana day” this is not the hotel. We weren’t brought towels or ice to our cabana and were given a very limited menu of food to choose from. The spa is under construction, however, you still...

'The hotel is very nice but has some issues that are not acceptable at this price point. The rooms are clean but could use some upgrades. The bathroom had cracked tiles, sink that drained very slow, one of the sinks didn’t dispense cold water, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and the ocean front views are breath taking. We did have some issues with our door not locking and unlocking upon arrival and the hotel also forgot to pick us up after one of the tours we booked...

'Where to begin? We have stayed at this RIU in the Bahamas four times. This will be the last. It has gone downhill. This is not a 4 star resort at all. The rooms are musty and moldy due to the lack of proper ventilation and air conditioning. The entire hotel has that musty smell. Everything needs major upgrades. The bar pool has tiles floating loosely at the bottom. The food is awful! The buffet was completely disappointing. We had one decent meal at the steakhouse but you have to reserve it two...

'Staff which tried to be funny, but who made us feel really uncomfortable. The property is built up a hill which makes it inconvenient to walk anywhere. They have their own taxi, but are not able to plan. We changed our schedule for the taxi in line with their availability. They announced different prices for the ride twice and finally reserved a taxi which was more than 2 times more expensive than announced. Don’t expect anything complementary, even for the small bottles of water in the room...

'The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Nassau. The state of the hotel is very bad. It is like falling apart. The room had many things broken and had very old furnisher. I can mention a few things that were broken (the window blinds, the curtains, the water stopper in the bathroom). The breakfast was ok, not much choices. The pool was emptied and getting re-painted. The staff at the reception was friendly. The cleaners did their job also very good. '

'Money got stolen from my safe! Overal room was kinda outdated, the bathtub was plugged. There was litteraly 2 nice people from all the staff, the lady at front desk atleast gave me 100 dollar discount for the inconveniance. Overal the crimes in Bahamas are very high , i felt unsafe unfortunally. '

'Great Hotel we enjoyed our stay ofcourse its dated but it met our requirements bed was comfy and thats all we really cared as we are out all day touring the island. It has small pool which is 24/7 loved how convenient that is to take a dip at 2am. They have access to private beach ⛱️ 2min walk just have to cross the road its locked 🔒 as its private. Staff is great 👍 i wont mind coming back again... especially if youre into touring the island vs staying at a resort.. if you dont mind...

'Needs improvement in the appearance of the hotel. The flooring in the room wasn't nice as well as the carpeting in the hallways. The bathtub finishing was peeling off. Lastly and most importantly the heat needed to be on or turned up! the pools were way too cold to enjoy, my kids went in I would of liked to enjoy a swim with them but I couldn't because it was way to cold. '

'The staff was nice when we got there. During our stay we did have to look for staff to help us as one woman seemed to be running the cafe and the hotel. The room was over crowded with beds. There were unpatched holes in the walls in the room and bathroom. There was dirt and hair behind the toilet. There was not the proper remote for the tv and the curtain was falling off the wall. It was a lack of attention to detail. It was not worth the money. '

'The staff were very nice, but they didn’t tell me I had to pay a cash deposit till I got there, had to walk down the street to an atm in the dark, the sheets on the bed weren’t really fitted sheets, did not feel the safest there. Was good walking distance from restaurants, grocery store and bars.'
