'Wonderful! It felt like Grandma’s House'

'When we arrived we tryed to find remote but never found it. She did bring us one the next day. Shower was so tiny.coffee pot didnt work. No air conditioning. Muddy driveway. And terrible mosquitoes. Very overpriced. '

'This was my first ever booking of a VRBO or any other property. I feel like the bar is set way too high now and I have so much to say that I don't even know where to start.While the pictures are good, getting there in person you will quickly see how special this place is. The property is secluded from the road by about 40' of dense tree line. Beautiful clean sand from the beach to the front door of the property. I am not sure when the place was renovated but the owner did a phenomenal job...

'Great location and lovely setting. This was a well stocked cabin with all the necessary items to make for a comfortable stay. Very easy access to area attractions, a great home base for day trip travels. Being directly on the water was a super peaceful place to have coffee in the morning and lay on the dock at night to sky watch. '

'Absolutely loved our stay in Hessel. We got to see my cousin who doesn't live far away and my boys got to fish and have all sorts of fun at this place. Absolutely wonderful stay and very thoughtful accomodations.'

'House was very clean and just as pictured on VRBO. House is quite small and very close the other house on the property but has a very large deck overlooking the lake. The lake is gorgeous. You can fish off the dock. The kayaks are high quality and there are ample paddles and life vests in the shed. Fire pit and chairs by the lake are great. I would definitely stay here again. '

'We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was the perfect size for our group, and the kids absolutely loved spending time at the lake. We appreciated being within walking distance to a great restaurant and just a short drive to Mackinac and other attractions. The board games and cards were a fun touch for our evenings together. It was also so nice to have basic amenities provided—and the extra snacks were a thoughtful bonus. Highly recommend!'

'When I say this home, location, and ambience was perfect, I mean it! The tranquility of the area, the beautifully renovated home, and the peace all of us felt was just what we all hoped for in this vacation. 4 adults and 3 children….we had plenty of space, area to explore, and the view was breathtaking! Inside and out! '
