'It is a pet friendly hotel they have a designated area for travellers with pets. Nice that you can walk and see the lake. Friendly staff, clean rooms.'

'It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated.'

'Pay attention to your booking. Picture may show a cabin but will be a hotel room. They need to do something about the moisture and the mildew smell. There was wrapper in the drawer so I know they don’t clean 100%. Bathroom had mold on ceiling. Was a decent stay though. Water park was fun for the kids and was convenient to the towns. 'We knew it would be a good stay after being in the office for 30 seconds. This is truly a small mom&pop motel, the owner was very helpful and inviting while we checked in. You could tell she cared about the property. She even informed us they do a small campfire with smores in the evening. We sat around and had a few drinks with other guests and it creates an awesome atmosphere. As far as the room, for an honest review they are small. What they lack in size is made up for with quality.
