'Great location but the whole place needs a good tidy up. Its like a building site. If this had been an overseas package holiday i would have rung the rep. The gardens are full of items strewn all over. Do you check out these cottages or just write what the owner gives you. Stinks of mis-representation to me!!!! The bins were put out on Monday and werent returned till Thursday so the pedal bins were inside in hot weather, one of the owners promised them back on Wednesday but it didn't happen.....

'So we booked this, gorgeous little place for a valentine's night stay. I had a question and the owners replied quickly and professionally. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Exactly as described and run by genuinely welcoming, polite, hospitable people. The cottage was beautiful, well finished and a pleasure to stay. Will be booking again wothout a doubt. Thankyou guys we loved it.'

'House was good. Well laid out rooms, good space and well kitted out. Was exactly what we needed for a 40somethings friends weekend away. House is clean and decor is fine, although does look like someone has ram raided Dunelm and then scattergunned it all over. Quite a lot of peeling wallpaper and tired wall art. We enjoyed the stay and then the owner decided to try and scam us out of our deposit for a "broken chair". A chair which wasn't even there. Its in the advertised photos but we never saw...
