'Rooms very clean, staff very attentive. Hotel right on the beach with less than 5 minute walk from any room to the ocean. Hotel is great for families. We bowled, played tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, ping pong, pool. Delicious food. '

'I stayed at Maya Royale Dec 30 - Jan 5. I have a great experience and would go back and recommend it to anyone without issues. I had some reservations prior to going there, however, I was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was great, good diversity and each day had a different theme so you didn't eat the same thing every day. The NYE dinner at the buffet (you have the option to pay and have a fixed menu at one of the restaurants) was impressive: lobster tail, pecking duck, crab legs, foie-gras...

'We loved the property, it was spread out nicely and hardly ever felt "busy". Things were clean, the food was delicious. We had some problems with the dinner reservations but Ricardo in the office helped us out. The adults only option was fabulous! It was great to have all the amenities and low price of a large resort with an adults only area (with pool, bar, and bistro for breakfast & lunch)! We look forward to returning.'

'De service en personeel in de restaurants waren super vriendelijke en correct. De spa en medewerkers waren zeer correct en vriendelijk. De vele verschillende managers en het personeel van de receptie waren onder maat voor zo'n keten. Als je geen membership wilde kopen dan waren ze opeens niet meer vriendelijk en zelf arrogant naar de gasten toe.'
