'We had a great stay here! It was quiet, clean, and private, while still being convenient to Acadia National Park. We loved staying on the western side of the island. The host, Becky, was fantastic. She made us feel welcome and went the extra mile when our late arrival meant we got there after the grocery and convenience stores closed. If you’re traveling with children, this house is especially a gem. There were toys and books for kids of all ages. If we come back to Acadia, we’d definitely stay...

'We LOVED this property!! It is perfectly situated location wise for anything that you want to do in the Acadia and Bar Harbor area. The property was very clean and adorable. So many nice extra touches like the coffee bar and the snacks! There is a great amount of land to walk the dogs on (just not fenced). It seemed like an incredibly safe area, even walking at night. Loved looking through the guest book for ideas from other guests. TV easy to log into your streaming services and automatically...

'The property was stunning, and huge. Hot tub needed chemicals and we had to use mats for our feet because the rocks were a bit sharp. The property overall was great…almost too big for the max of 8 people. There were some cobwebs in the vaulted ceilings…but we were probably an early in the season renter??? The worst was the water pressure. We had six people and actually ran out of water one morning, meaning no water coming out of the faucet, and not all of us were using the water at the same...

'Quietside Cottage was in a great location, just a short walk to Southwest Harbor (shops and restaurants). The home was fine (sunporch great), but needs some maintenance to make it great. Communication with the manager was very good and their digital guide best I have seen.'

'Everything was easy and lovely, but the view says it all! We had coffee in the morning and take-out at night sitting on the deck enjoying the birds and boats on the water immediately in front of us. The host also was immediately and very helpfully responsive to our requests. We are already thinking of a return visit. We loved Maine!'
