'Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy.'

'The house was a very nice home on a secluded road which made it all nice and quiet. This was a retirement gift trip for my parents. Overall everything was really nice. The only issue is the house has inadequate heat for the size and openness of the home. Though it was an issue the first couple nights the property managers were very nice and brought by space heaters to ensure my folks stayed warm through the chilly nights. They still enjoyed themselves and spent most of there time in Bar Harbor....

We spent 3 days enjoying the area; hiking in Acadia, browsing shops in Bar Harbor and eating lots of Maine lobster-(btw, Beal’s in Southwest Harbor lobster rolls 10/10). The location is nice with a spacious, tranquil yard. A few deer wandered through the yard briefly at dawn and dusk, along with many songbirds. It felt relaxing. The cottage is roomy with lots of seating, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. We would stay again.'

'Great location for hiking Acadia NP. Inquired if there was a fire pit, the booking agency said no, but we found out as we were leaving that there was a shared fire pit-disappointed. Stairs to bedrooms were very steep-ok for able adults, but hazardous for children and others. Enjoyed the accommodations and location.'

'NASTY! To start, we missed the house because the exterior did not match the pictures. When we walked up the stairs and were greeted by a rusty razor blade on the handrail. We then went to enter the code that was sent, and it was not correct! We had to go back to town (remember, there’s no service) and had to call the VRBO hotline to finally get a code that worked.
