'The whole experience was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating the room was beautiful and spacious the grounds were beautiful and the food was excellent! Bonus was the howler monkeys off my balcony and a sloth on the grounds'

'Het was een superfijn verblijf. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en het huisje was boven verwachting mooi. Daarnaast was de host super vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt was lekker en heel knus. Het enige nadeel is dat dit verblijf een stukje van la Fortuna afligt. Maar dit is wel goed aan te rijden. Ik zou dit zeker aanraden! '

'Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. '

'We had a wonderful stay here! We visited villas eco arenal with about 20 persons. The staff went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable!!! I organised a surprise birthday party, where Eduardo came with the initiative to arrange a birthday cake - which was stunning -, organised a local folkloristic dance group, and they reserved and decorated the whole restaurant for us.'

'Ontzettend schone en ruime kamer. De badkamer is zeer modern en ook schoon. Er is airconditioning. Op het terrein kun je zwemmen. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels. Het hotel is iets buiten het centrum. Wij vonden dat geen probleem, aangezien je voor trips gewoon opgehaald wordt. Je kunt in max 10 minuten ook naar jet centrum lopen.'

'Basic, well managed property, clean and away from the noise of the main avenue. It has a nice nature walk in the back which was a plus. The restaurant could be better, in fact I noticed this everywhere I stayed and ate in CR, a major disappointment as far as the cuisine. I get better CR food in Queens NY. '

'Beautiful property, the shared outdoor kitchen was so nice to use and then sit and enjoy the sounds of birds and the fresh air. I now wish I could have my own! The room was fine, had all the necessary essentials and the AC worked great. The space indoor and outdoor felt safe and secure and the other guests were respectful and polite.
