'I stay at this hotel twice a year for events I come into Cincinnati for. Very disappointed this time in the room amenities. Bottom of one of the beds was broken, bathroom light was not very bright, shower curtain rod was not level so the curtain did not stay closed on either end. I’m not sure if this was just a room that needed to be refreshed. They were painting the lobby right outside the restaurant during my stay so you smelled the paint fumes with your breakfast each morning. Staff was very...

'I checked in at 7:30 which was considered after hours so the door was locked. I had to call to find someone to help me. The elderly lady came to the door after a while but struggled to get it unlocked. I told her I was checking in and she kept asking me what room I was in. 'Staff was very friendly. At checkout even though slightly before 6am we were told to help ourselves to breakfast before we left. Room was disappointing other than bed. Blinds were broken, tub backed up and someone else’s hair came up, no fan in bathroom, toilet handle loose and about to break. Not what you expect from Hampton.'

'Staff was helpful with any question at any time. Easy on/off the highway. We stopped there to avoid rush hour traffic through Cincinnati, and were able to grab the breakfast and leave by 6:30 am, sailing through the city at that time. The breakfast was fairly good, with freshly scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy at the hot station, and cold cereal and fruit available as well. Highway noise could be heard all night but more as a white noise. For us, the easy on/off was worth the noise...

'The barn door on the bathroom is very poor design. It offers no privacy to the user of the bathroom as everything going on in the bathroom is clearly audible to anyone outside of the bathroom. And vice versa. Seems like form over function. Everything else was very nice.'
